Training...

Bloodstar trotted to the Training grounds. He leapt up onto a boulder and turned to face the way he had just come, waiting for Sunpaw. The ground here was boggy and humid, making Bloodstar's pelt fluff out. He struggled to keep it under control by grooming himself, but soon gave up.

Sunpaw came shooting through the clearing; endless energy flowing through her. She stopped when she was in front of Bloodstar.
" I cant wait to learn everything it takes to be a warrior," Sunpaw said excitedly.

Bloodstar smiled slightly when he saw the energy in his aprentice. "Well we have a long way to go until your a Warrior, but we'll work on that. Today is battle training." he meowed, jumping down from his perch and landing in front of Sunpaw. "Attack me," he ordered.

Sunpaw immediatly rushed up to her leader and tried to but him over eith her head. While trying she batted him with sheathed paws.

Bloodstar raised one enormous paw and brought it down upon Sunpaw's side, knocking her over onto the spongy ground. "You have speed but I have strength. Use your speed as an advantage over me now, then when you become older we'll work on your strength," he meowed. "Now, try it again."

" Ok," Sunpaw said. She backed up and then swiftly rounded around Bloodstar and jumped on his back. And she almost had her teeth by his throat when she slipped and fell.
" That was horrible," Sunpaw said sadly.

Bloodstar struggled to reatch onto his back. Instead, he was preparing to roll over, but Sunpaw fell off. "No, no, that was very good. You just lost your grip, thats all," he mewed, turning to face her. "Try it again."

Suunpaw did. She backed up and then flew at Bloodstar she was already on his back, and secure, and her teeth at his neck.

Bloodstar struggled to shake Sunpaw off. He raised a paw once more and swiped at her with seathed paws, then rolled over. He worked with his paws again and managed to throw her off so that she landed on the soft ground. "Nice job," he meowed, shaking the dust off of his pelt.

" Thanks. YOur a good fighter," Sunpaw said panting. Battle training was hard work but she was willing to give it everything she had.

Bloodstar nodded in thanks for the comment. Fighting had always been the thing he was best at, it was hunting that gave him trouble. He straightened himself. "We should go back to camp," he meowed. "We'll work harder tomorrow."

" Okay," Sunpaw said already looking forward to it. She couldnt wait to get back and tell her sister all about her training. She also could do with a little freshkill and rest.

Bloodstar padded across the training ground, waving his tail breifly for Sunpaw to follow. He padded to the camp, weaving between rocks and branches that were in his way.

Sunpaw padded behind obediatly.
